The RKS-01I-SOLO personal dosimeter is designed to measure the equivalent dose rate and cumulative dose of gamma radiation and beta-particle flux density for a given period. The dosimeter has a threshold-activated alarm warning.

The dosimeter is a compact and handy device for radiation and personal exposure monitoring.

  • Description

    The dosimeter is a wearing device designed to measure:

    • equivalent dose rate of gamma radiation;
    • equivalent (cumulative) dose of gamma radiation;
    • beta-particle flux density.

    The dosimeter consists of a control panel and built-in beta and gamma radiation detection units. Depending on the user’s needs, one or both of the detection units can be integrated (specifications are provided in the section “Main characteristics”).

    The dosimeter fulfils the basic tasks of radiation monitoring in accordance with the requirements of the Hygienic Standards (HS SEGRS) (NRB), the Sanitary Guidelines (SG SEGRS) and other regulations.
