RKS-01-SOLO UNIVERSAL RADIOMETER-DOZIMETER

Description:
High-sensitive radiometer-dosimeter RKS-01-SOLO is designed for complex radiation control of environment, working area, installations and means of transport, for control over scrap metal and other kinds of recyclable materials.
For flexibility in application an automatic specialized mode for transport means and luggage examination, including recording of object screening was added. The device has a wide range of high sensitive detection blocks of alpha-, beta-, gamma- (including x-ray range) and neutron radiation that is packaged according to customer's needs.
There is a comfortable LCD arrows-controlled search mode, light and sound alarm signalization.

The device is introduced into RK State Register under No KZ.02.02.04397-2014

Normalization of nonlinear energy dependence of scintillator sensitivity is performed by means of multistage analog data digitizer. The device ensures performance of the basic tasks of radiation control in accordance with the requirements of normative documents.

SPECIFIC FEATURES:
• comfortable arrows-controlled LCD search mode; • automatic control mode; 
• evaluation of spectral structure of measured radionuclide via built-in analog data digitizer; 
• RS-232 and USB interface for transfer of information to PC; 
• small size and weight; 
• at customer's option packaged with remote-mount scintillation gamma detector with lengthened arm.

Exterior alpha-particles detection block:
In detection block scintillation detectors with the area of 40 cm2 are installed. 
Measurement limit of alpha particles flow density:  from 0.1 to 5х105 freq/min cm
Beta particles flow density measurement range: from 1 to 5х105 freq/min cm2
Energy range of alpha particles: from 1 to 8 MeV 
Energy range of alpha particles: from 0.06 to 3.5 MeV
