Universal radiometer-dosimeter RKS-01-SOLO (Modification 3)

The RKS-01-SOLO radiometer-dosimeter is designed for integrated radiation monitoring of the environment, workplaces, equipment and vehicles, for radiation inspection of scrap metal and recyclables. There is a special automatic mode for vehicle and luggage inspection, accounting for the shielding of the inspected object. The device has a wide range of highly sensitive detection units for alpha, beta, gamma (including the X-ray range) and neutron radiation, which can be integrated depending on the customer’s needs.

The device has a handy LCD readout with an arrow search mode, plus a light and sound alarm.

The device is included in the State Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan under no. KZ.02.01.02637-2024
Manufacturer: SOLO LLP
Country: Republic of Kazakhstan

Warranty period: 12 months
After-sales service: during the entire period of operation

  • Description

    The dosimeter is a wearing device designed to measure:

    • ambient equivalent dose rate of gamma radiation (including X-ray range) and neutron radiation;
    • ambient equivalent dose of gamma (including X-ray range) and neutron radiation;
    • alpha radiation flux density;
    • beta particle flux density;
    • alpha and beta particle flux values.

    The dosimeter consists of a control panel and detection units depending on customer requirements. Two detection units can have separate housings or share one housing.

    The flattening of nonlinearity of the energy dependence of the sensitivity of scintillators is performed by an analog-to-digital converter. The device performs basic radiation control tasks in accordance with the Hygiene Standards of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Guidelines for Radiation Safety (HS SEGRS) (NRB) and the of the Sanitary Rules of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Guidelines for Radiation Safety (SR SEGRS).

  • Features
    • easy-to-use LCD readout with arrow search mode;
    • automatic control mode;
    • assessment of the spectral composition of measured radionuclides using the built-in analog-to-digital converter;
    • RS-232 and USB interface for transferring data to a computer;
    • small size and weight of the device.
