The RKS-01AS-SOLO radiometer-dosimeter is designed for automatic control of the hands/feet (shoes) and clothes surface exposure to alpha and/or beta radiation. An audible alarm warns when a specified dose rate is exceeded.
The device is used in changing rooms, clean rooms, laboratories of enterprises and institutions using alpha and beta active substances.

The dosimeter is designed for stationary use to measure the alpha and/or beta radiation flux density.
It consists of a control panel and two units for detecting alpha and/or beta particles.
The device performs basic radiation control tasks in accordance with the Hygiene Standards of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Guidelines for Radiation Safety (HS SEGRS) (NRB) and the of the Sanitary Rules of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Guidelines for Radiation Safety (SR SEGRS).
