The RKS-01AB-SOLO radiometer-dosimeter is intended for monitoring surface contamination of the skin, uniform and equipment with alpha and beta particles. The RKS-01AB-SOLO is a stationary device installed in the radioactive contamination control room. Scintillation detectors with the surface area of 40 sq cm are used to control alpha and beta radiation.

The dosimeter is a stationary wall-mounted device designed to measure the flux density of alpha and beta particles.
It consists of a control panel and two units for detecting alpha and beta particles.
The device performs basic radiation control tasks in accordance with the Hygiene Standards of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Guidelines for Radiation Safety (HS SEGRS) (NRB) and the of the Sanitary Rules of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Guidelines for Radiation Safety (SR SEGRS).
The device consists of a control panel and alpha and beta particle detection units.
